Livorno have reportedly turned to Roma’s veteran winger Rodrigo Taddei as the club look to strengthen ahead of the Serie A season.
The 33-year-old has made a total of 267 appearances for the Giallorossi, scoring 29 goals since joining from Siena in 2005, but is deemed surplus to requirements at the Stadio Olimpico.
Tuttomercatoweb report that representatives from Livorno have made official contact with their counterparts at Roma with regards to the availability of Taddei, however no transfer offer has yet been made by the Amaranto.
Livorno, who won promotion to Serie A after wining the Serie B play-off final, face Roma at home in the opening fixture of the new Serie A season.
