Libor Kozak LazioAccording to club president Aldo Spinelli newly promoted Livorno could make a move for Lazio’s Czech striker Libor Kozak as they continue their search for attacking reinforcements.

Spinelli insisted that his relationship with Lazio counterpart Claudio Lotito meant that he could talk openly with the Biancocelesti chief, before joking that he may wait a little in the aftermath of their 4-0 defeat to Juventus in the Super Coppa.

However, the 73-year-old owner did admit that a deal for Parma defender Alessandro Lucarelli will not be completed after they ended negotiations with the former Amaranto man.

“I pride myself on my great relationship with Lotito,” Spinelli told Calciomercato.

“I can always talk to him.

“I could call him and talk about Kozak, but I think I’ll wait after yesterday’s defeat against Juventus.

“The deal [for Lucarelli] has passed, we do not do long contracts but we reason season by season.

“We have not reached agreement on the duration of the contract, nor [were the finances] on the cheap side.

“I do not think there are the necessary conditions [to continue] and we are already beating other tracks.”
