Nacional striker Gonzalo Bueno has expressed his desire to play in the Serie A despite interest from several clubs in the Russian Premier League.
Despite the 20-year-old forward’s desire to move to Italy, his club side have yet to hold talks with any interested Italian parties.
Despite no imminent moves on the horizon, Bueno spoke about where he’d like to play his football.
“CSKA Moscow? No, I prefer Italy,” he told tuttomercatoweb.com.
“I certainly want to play in Serie A. Roma are a very important club and people talk about them a lot in Uruguay.
“I also like Genoa, so they would be a good solution.”
With the transfer window nearing its deadline date, clubs will have to move quickly if they are to secure the services of Bueno.
Bueno has scored 14 goals in 51 appearances for the Uruguayan side since being promoted from the youth team in 2011.
