Napoli agree to deal for Estudiantes striker
The Partenopei have been on the lookout for another striker to add to the current squad and that search has seemingly come to a conclusion with a deal for the Colombian international set to be concluded.
According to Tuttomercatoweb.it, Napoli have added an extra stipulation into the agreement, with Estudiantes having to pay the Azzurri a penalty of €3m if the player doesn’t touch down at the San Paolo by August 29.
In doing this, the port city club have insured themselves against another assault from newly-promoted Sassuolo who are determined to fight for the player’s signature.
Zapata has bagged 24 goals in 48 matches for Buenos Aires side since moving from America de Cali in 2011.
