Napoli have reportedly been offered Lorient’s Gabonese centre-back Bruno Ecuele Manga.
The Azzurri have been very active in this transfer window, already securing the signings of Gonzalo Higuain, Raul Albiol and Dries Mertens among others, and coach Rafa Benitez is still on the hunt for a new defender to complete his rearguard.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Ligue 1 club Lorient have made their Gabonese international stopper Manga available to the Partenopei, although the San Paolo side don’t seem convinced by the 25-year-old.
Manga, who was linked with Merseyside clubs Liverpool and Everton earlier in the summer, has managed three goals in 63 appearances for Lorient since moving from Ligue 2 side Angers in 2010.
