Cristiano Biraghi - ItalyMario Giuffredi, agent of Cittadella defender Cristiano Biraghi, has admitted that there’s a chance that the player will join Parma for the upcoming season.

The 20-year-old, who is co-owned by Cittadella and Inter, would welcome a move to the Crociati for a chance to establish himself in Italy’s top tier.

Giuffredi spoke to ParmaLive.com about the possibility of his client transferring to club and conceded that he hasn’t made any contact with the Gialloblu as of yet.

“No, at the moment I haven’t heard from Parma,” said the agent.

“Cristiano is a young man with great qualities. He deserves to be in Serie A, so we will wait for news with patience.

“It’s possible, even probable, that there has been contact directly between the clubs.

“A move to Parma would definitely be pleasing to the youngster.

“Despite having to compete for a spot with [Djamel] Mesbah and [Massimo] Gobbi, the player would like to test himself in a difficult league such as Serie A.
