Parma sign Lithuanian striker from Latina

Tomas Danilevicius LithuaniaParma have confirmed the signing of Lithuanian striker Tomas Danilevicius on a permanent deal from Serie B newcomers Latina.

It is expected that the 35-year-old’s stay in Parma will be a short one, as it is believed the former Arsenal and Livorno man will soon be heading on to Slovenian side ND Gorica.

The club are a satellite side of the Crociati and are managed by former Grosseto, Gubbio and Modena boss Luigi Appolini.

Latina confirmed the move on their official website.

“There are still movements in the transfer movement for Latina,” the statement read.

“The blue and black club have sold Tomas Danilevicius who was acquired last January from Juve Stabia to Parma on a permanent basis.”

The Lithuanian captain was an important part of the Latina side that won promotion to Serie B for the first time in the club’s history, starting 12 games after his move in January and scoring two goals.
