Roma await Fiorentina decision on offer for attacker

Adem Ljajic - Fiorentina have submitted a bid to for contract rebel and have set a deadline of Tuesday for a response from the Viola.

That may make things somewhat fraught given that the Giallorossi play in their league opener tomorrow while Fiorentina are not in action until they meet Catania on Monday night.

The capital club confirmed that “we await a response by Tuesday” and according to TMW, Ljajic no longer wants to renew his contract which expires next summer and is now evaluating the options he has on the table.

As well as Roma, Atletico Madrid, Liverpool and Galatasaray are all interested while AC Milan are a fellow Italian side who are monitoring his situation closely.

Ljajic is viewed by Roma as being the perfect replacement for the outgoing Erik Lamela who looks on the verge of signing a deal with Tottenham Hotspur.
