Roma could be set to exchange Pablo Osvaldo for Atletico Madrid’s Adrian Lopez, disappointing both Tottenham Hotspur and Southampton.
The Premier League sides have both been linked with the italian international and it is thought both have had €18 million bids accepted by the Giallorossi.
However, according to Marca, Osvaldo isn’t convinced a move to England is right for him and instead would rather make a switch to Spain.
It is thought Roma would be open to a part-exchange deal which included Lopez, who is valued at €10 million by Atletico.
The 25-year-old made 32 appearances last season, scoring on three occasions.
