Demba Ba ChelseaRoma have been linked with a move for Chelsea striker Demba Ba in an attempt to round out the Giallorossi’s attack for the new season.

The capital club have been hard at work in recent days with Pablo Daniel Osvaldo having been sold to Southampton and Marco Borriello being offered to several clubs in attempt to dump his €4 million salary.

Tuttomercatoweb.com reports that sporting director Walter Sabatini is in London to continue talks with Tottenham regarding a possible sale of Erik Lamela. However, the Italian will also use the visit to open talks with Chelsea regarding the 28-year-old striker.

Despite only joining the club in January, it is believed that new Blues manager Jose Mourinho would be willing to let the Senegalese international leave the club this summer.

Ba made 22 appearances in all competitions for Chelsea and scored six goals.
