Roma tracking Barcelona starlet

Antonio Sanabria Barcelona are interested in snapping up ’s young Paraguayan attacking sensation .

The 17-year-old San Lorenzo native made his senior international debut for Paraguay last week, coming on in the 82nd minute of their 3-3 friendly draw against Germany and Roma officials were watching from the sidelines in Kaiserslautern.

According to, the Giallorossi have taken note that the player’s contract in Catalonia runs until 2015, but being one of the jewels of the Barca youth setup, the Blaugrana are keen to hold on to him.

Premier League side have also been credited with an interest in the young star, who has yet to sign a professional contract due to Spanish laws preventing players under the age of 18 from doing so.
