Sassuolo looking to land talented Palermo striker
The Neroverdi are looking to solidify their squad as they prepare for their first season in the Italian top flight and are being linked with several moves ahead of next Tuesday’s close to the transfer window.
Sportitalia reports that the Emilia-Romagnia side have made a €6 million offer in a bid to land Hernandez on a co-ownership deal.
With Rosanero president Maurizio Zamparini looking for a fee of €12m for the talented striker, it’s possible that the Pando native could be plying his trade in the Serie A next season.
If Hernandez were to leave the Rosanero it is believed they would look to Verona’s Daniele Cacia and Torino’s Riccardo Meggiorini to fill the void.
Hernandez scored one goal in 14 appearances for the Sicilian side after missing a large portion of the season recovering from a major knee injury.
