Richmond Boakye, currently co-owned by Juventus and Genoa, is being targeted by La Liga side Elche.
After netting 11 goals for Sassuolo last season the Ghanaian would like to continue playing regular football, something that doesn’t look probable with either of his clubs.
La Marca states that Elche have stepped forward on the basis of purchase whereas both the Bianconeri and the Grifoni were seeking a loan deal as they view Boakye as a hot prospect for the future and don’t want to give him up.
The 20 year old’s future is currently unknown but he will certainly be looking to play first team football somewhere.
