Kozak - Lazio - PanathinaikosSunderland continue to take steps forward in an attempt to bring Lazio striker Libor Kozak to the Stadium of Light.

The Czech international has been a sought after commodity this summer and it appears as though the Black Cats are the latest club to attempt to lure him away from the Stadio Olimpico.

The Daily Mail report that former Lazio legend and current Sunderland manager Paolo Di Canio is ready to make €4.5 million bid to sign the former Opava player.

Kozak is coming off a disappointing Serie A campaign last season where he failed to score in 18 league appearances for the Biancocelesti last season.

However, he did find success in the Europa League where he finished as top scorer in the competition with eight goals.
