Sunderland struggling in their pursuit of Inter duo
The Nerazzurri are open to letting both players go before the start of the 2013-13 Serie A campaign, though it is believed they are only willing to let Mbaye leave on loan.
Kuzmanovic only joined the San Siro outfit in January 2013, but after the arrival of new coach Walter Mazzarri, it is believed the Serbian could be set for an exit.
According to the Shields Gazette, the Black Cats are extremely interested in Kuzmanovic but sources close to the Serbian international believe a move is unlikely as the Beneamata are unwilling to let him leave for less than €5 million, a fee Sunderland are unwilling to meet.
Gazzetta Dello Sport are also reporting that Paolo Di Canio’s side have made a speculative enquiry into the possibility of taking Mbaye to the Stadium of Light, although Inter rate the 18-year-old highly and want him to stay.
Kuzmanovic made 10 appearances for the Nerazzurri last season, while Mbaye has made two appearances for the first team.
