Gabriel TorjeUdinese winger Gabriel Torje is close to securing a move to Bundesliga club HSV Hamburg.

The 23-year-old has only recently returned to his parent club after a loan spell at Granada, but the German side are not far from his signature.

Eurosport report that the former Politehnica Timisoara wideman has nearly completed his transfer, and his move to Germany will be completed in the next few days.

Having joined the Zebrette from Dinamo Bucharest in 2011, he made twenty one appearances for the club in his first season. Over the next summer he was loaned out to sister club Granada, and went on to secure a regular first-team spot for himself in Spain before returning to Italy.

After beginning his career by playing for two clubs in his hometown of Timisoara, the diminutive winger was given his debut for Politehnica by legendary Romanian footballer Georghe Hagi.

Despite his young age, Torje, who was voted Romanian Footballer of the Year in 2011, has made twenty five appearances for his country, scoring nine goals, including seven in his last nine games.
