West Bromwich Albion are interested in signing Stuttgart fullback Cristian Molinaro in an attempt to strengthen the English club’s defence.
The 30-year-old had been linked with a move to Fiorentina earlier in the summer, but it appears as though the Baggies are now keen to land the former Juventus defender.
Sporitalia reports that West Brom will have to beat out the interest of Sunderland, who are keen to add a left sided player and have been linked with a move for current Bianconero Paolo De Ceglie.
Molinaro, who left Juventus for Stuttgart in 2010, has made 124 appearances for the German club in that time.
