AC Milan confirm injury layoff for Kaka, who makes goodwill gesture
The Brazilian suffered a thigh strain on his return for the Rossoneri during the 2-2 draw with Torino on Saturday evening.
The Diavolo have released a brief statement on their website which states the summer signing from Real Madrid has picked up a left adductor problem.
Although the club have stated that the attacking midfielder will be examined again in about 10 days, other reports in the Italian claim that he will be side-lined for at least four weeks with the issue.
Kaka could thus be unavailable until the game against Udinese on October 19, which is three days before the Champions League tie against Barcelona at the San Siro.
Though, as a gesture of goodwill, the Brazilian will forfeit his wages until he is fully recovered from injury.
