AC Milan vice president: Kaka will likely be a vice-captain
The Rossoneri are preparing to take on Torino in Turin on Saturday and the match could mark Kaka’s first action in the Italian league since his departure for Real Madrid in 2009.
Galliani commented on the Brazilian’s return and what it means for the squad, insisting the trequartista’s return will be a positive for the entire squad.
“Kaka and [Riccardo] Saponara are two added weapons for the Rossoneri,” he told Sky Sport.
“We have a great group of attackers and we will always look to attack. The Brazilian looked like he was in good form during the friendly, even if I only saw it on TV.
“He will not take away space from [Stephan] El Shaarawy and the others, in fact he could help out the squad.
“He will almost certainly be a vice-captain because the captain is and remains [Riccardo] Montolivo, but we haven’t forgotten the six seasons Kaka spent with this jersey.
