Arsenal and Liverpool looking to hijack deal for long term AC Milan target
The Japanese attacking midfielder has made it clear that he is looking to leave the Russian side as he will not be renewing his contract when his current deal expires next January.
Reports throughout the summer have stated that the 27-year-old has already signed a pre-contract agreement with the Rossoneri but The Daily Star reports that Arsenal, Liverpool and Everton are looking to tempt the Japanese star to the Premier League after the Italian side’s recent signing of Brazilian star Kaka.
“I have many choices, but I want to compare as much as possible,” he told reporters.
“I just need to focus on the Russian league and the Champions League, so I don’t want to talk about this right now.”"
The bleached blonde attacker has been a shining light for Japan contributing 5 goals on route to their early qualification for next year’s World Cup in Brazil under the guidance of former Milan coach Alberto Zaccheroni.
