CAPELLORussia national team coach Fabio Capello has revealed that he has no desire to take over for Cesare Prandelli as Italy boss once the former Fiorentina boss leaves his post.

There has been much speculation regarding who could replace Prandelli after the 2014 World Cup in Brazil and the former England coach is just one of several coaches to be linked with the position.

Capello spoke to Sky Sports and stated that he has every intention of finishing his career with the Russian national team.

“I will not lead the Italian national team after Cesare Prandelli,” said the 67-year-old, who’s been leading the Russian national team since July 2012.

“My career will end with this experience in Russia.”

The Azzurri have already secured their spot in next year’s tournament, while Russia sit at the top of their group with a one point advantage over Portugal.
