Stephan El Shaarawy - AC MilanNapoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis has insisted that the club has no need for AC Milan forward Stephan El Shaarawy, despite rumours claiming otherwise.

The 20-year-old was linked with a move to a number of big clubs this summer, with the Partenopei being one of them, but the team’s owner is comfortable with his current squad and is no longer interested.

De Laurentiis commented on the matter and revealed that his attacking department is reinforced enough as it is.

“How much would I offer for him today? I can’t say because I don’t need him,” the Napoli chief told Sportmediaset.

“I already have seven strikers.”

Stephan El Shaarawy was heavily linked to English giants Manchester City in the closing days of the summer transfer window, with Kaka’s return to Milan fuelling speculations even more, but the Italian international ultimately decided to stay with the Rossoneri to fight for his place in the squad.
