Genoa have completed the signing of Racing Club winger Ricardo Centurion on loan after being linked to the player intermittently throughout the summer.

The 20-year-old burst onto the scene last year for the Avellaneda side, and his blistering performances on the wings led to comparisons with Real Madrid winger and compatriot Angel Di Maria.

However, after injuries and some indifferent performances, Centurion fell of the radar a bit, only garnering interest from Russia club Anzhi Makhachkala.

According to the official Serie A website, Centurion has finally joined the Grifoni on a temporary deal for an undisclosed fee.

Centurion joins a host of players arriving at Genoa this summer, including Francesco Lodi, Luca Antonini, and Alessandro Gamberini.

The Rossoblu are currently at the foot of the Serie A table, collecting zero points from their first two matches.
