Inter set for talks with Colombian star over contract extension
The 27-year-old was earmarked as a possible departure at the end of last season, but with the Nerazzurri having opted to keep the former Porto man, it appears they are ready to extend his stay at the San Siro.
A Bola reports that the two parties will soon meet in order to extend Guarin’s contract, which runs until 2016, after having refused offers of €20 million for his service’s during the summer.
Guarin has been with the Nerazzurri since arriving on loan from Porto in January 2012. The Nerazzurri then bought him from the Portuguese giants for €11.5m later that summer. He has since gone on to score 10 goals in 56 appearances for the Beneamata.
