Juventus starlet plays down great early season form
The 20-year-old has been heralded for his performances in the Bianconeri’s first few matches of the new season with media reports suggesting the youngster is already one of the best midfielder’s in Europe.
Despite the compliments, Pogba is not phased by the glowing reviews and is adamant he still has a long way to go before receiving such labels.
“Nothing has changed,” Pogba told L’Equipe during an interview.
“It is other people that look at me in a different light. Winning the Under 20 World Cup was fantastic and extraordinary.
“Being voted the best player was great but things like that won’t make you the king of the world.
“I didn’t win the Ballon d’Or but I will not stop here.”
Pogba joined the Bianconeri from Manchester United in the summer of 2012 and has since gone on to score six goals in 40 appearances for the reigning Italian champions.
