Lazio closing in on Galatasaray striker
Lazio are continuing to work on a deal for Galatasaray striker Burak Yilmaz with sources in Italy suggesting that his transfer to the Roman club should be completed before the close of the transfer window.
However, Biancolcelesti sporting director Igli Tare has also reiterated that with an agreement yet to be reached the Lazio fans must be patient as the transfer window deadline approaches.
“The situation Yilmaz is locked. Lazio is in the standby position, so let’s see what will happen in the coming hours. Tare told Laziosiamonoi.it.
According to Sky Sports Italia president Claudio Lotito had spent the majority of Sunday evening negotiating with the Turkish club to complete a deal with the sides reportedly just €1 million apart in their valuations of the 28-year-old.
