Serie A legend Sinisa Mihajlovic believes Juventus will secure a third consecutive Scudetto this season, insisting that the Bianconeri are considerably better than their nearest rivals.
Despite Napoli sitting on top of Serie A for the first time in 23 years, and impressing under Rafael Benitez, the former Fiorentina coach insisted that the Partenopei and his former club will have to settle for Champions League qualification.
“I think that Juventus will make this year a league of their own,” Mihajlovic told Gazzetta.it.
“Immediately behind the Bianconeri are Napoli and Fiorentina see, while the other teams will fight for the Europa League.”
After their 1-1 draw with Inter at the Giuseppe Meazza on Saturday evening the Old Lady dropped points for the first time this season gave the Partenopei the chance to become the sole leaders – now joint with Roma.
However, Juventus’ inability to beat a Nerazzurri side in transition this season has not seemed to dull the 44-year-old confidence in their chances of the Scudetto.
