Montreal Impact striker could make Bologna return
The MLS top scorer suggested on Wednesday that he would consider playing for at least one more season in Montreal, however, with his wife and two children returning to Italy the 37-year-old may soon follow.
“If my family was here it would be different, I’d play another year for sure,” Di Vaio told CBC Sports.
Whilst rumours circulate of the Italian’s retirement reports in Italy are suggesting that Di Vaio could now join Bologna, the club he left when heading to MLS, in a coaching capacity.
According to Corriere di Bologna the former Italian international may first agree to sign a short-term playing contract with the Rossoblu for the remainder of the Serie A season.
