Roma defender could be set for return to Argentina
The 32-year-old has been with the capital club since 2009 solidifying himself as a regular starter for the Lupi in that time.
However new coach Rudi Garcia has opted to field Mehdi Benatia and Leandro Castan for the Giallorossi’s first two matches of the Serie A season.
As a result ilsussidario.net reports that Burdisso could be set for a return to Argentina with former side Boca Juniors next summer if things do not change in the coming months.
With his contract set to expire next summer the former Inter man is seriously considering a return home after spending the last nine years in Italy.
Burdisso moved to Inter in 2004 before joining Roma in 2009. He has since gone on to make 125 appearances for the capital club.
