Nicolas Burdisso - RomaRoma could bring Norwegian international Fredrik Semb Berge to replace Nicolas Burdisso if the Argentine decides to leaves the club on deadline day.

Burdisso signed for Roma in 2009, however has always expressed that he would finish his career at Boca Juniors and could return to his former club by the end of the transfers deadline.

SkySports have reported that Roma have found a replacement for Burdisso, but the 32-year-old must leave the capital in order for coach Rudi Garcia to add to the team.

However Roma are preparing to bid for Odd defender Berge who would be Burdisso’ successor if the Roma man leaves.

The 23-year-old’s contract expires in December 2014. However, in May 2013 an Odd-fan who won more than €102 million in the Eurojackpot lottery, paid €2.5 million for a 25% share of Berge.

This was to prevent Berge being sold if Odd was forced to sell him for a low price to another Norwegian club.

Berge has made two international appearances for Norway, and has made 81 appearances for current club Odd.
