Sassuolo turn their attention to Genoa striker
The 30-year-old forward is not guaranteed a starting place in Fabio Liverani’s squad as he has been deemed a surplus to requirements.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Grifoni striker has grabbed the attention of Sassuolo along with Palermo’s Uruguayan forward Abel Hernandez.
The Neroverdi are in the Serie A for the first time in their history and they are looking to boost their depth in all departments.
Sassuolo coach Eusebio Di Francesco has a young roster at his disposal and a player like Floro Flores would offer some experience in attack.
Floro Flores is currently in his second stint with Genoa. His first stint was in 2011, when he scored 10 goals in 18 Serie A matches for the Grifoni.
Since his return early this year, he has played nine matches for Genoa and scored two goals.
