AC Milan coach under threat

Massimiliano Allegri’s position as AC Milan coach is being considered by president Silvio Berlusconi following his side’s 3-2 defeat away to Juventus.

Two goals from Sulley Muntari were not enough for the Rossoneri who had Philippe Mexes sent off, with the result leaving them in 12th position in Serie A.

Milan have now conceded thirteen goals in seven games, and only Bologna and Sassuolo have conceded more this season.

Tuttomercatoweb.com report that Berlusconi will soon make a decision regarding Allegri’s future and this could be dependent on the games against Udinese and Parma following the upcoming international break.

Vice-president Adriano Galliani has also commented on Milan’s defensive record, as reported by Tuttosport.

“The 13 goals conceded are [too] many, only Sassuolo and Bologna have conceded more than us, but we have the fifth best offense. We must work on defense, but we are scoring a lot of goals,” stated Galliani.

  2. What is going on? What top club in the world would keep a manager like this? none… This is realy frustrating. Milan is ripped from identity and the coach almost all the matches ive seen since him joining is won by induvidual performences. There is no tactic what so ever, no plan. Sack him already. this is starting to get embarrassing

the one that baffles me most is the idiot Galliani said ‘… We are scoring lot of Goals…’ hehehhehehe, old fool, he needs to get out!

  7. kigo says:

The players are not the ones Milan should have.

  8. Use Poli because he is a wild cat and Sack that basketball coach Allegri! Buy Honda, buy at least four solid defenders and two great strikers because midfield is good with Montolivo, Poli, De Jong etc and opt for a new coach

  9. Someone needs to pull Galliani’s ears coz he can here no more. How many times we fans have been complaining about Allegri and his tactics? The answer is always. The team midcro but it can do better than this in the hands of sassoulo coach. I just wish crazy Zamparini takes incharge of Milan for ten minutes and then hand over back to Berlusconi, I’m sure my prayers would be answered within these ten minutes. Amen
