AC Milan forward M’Baye Niang has spoken on his excitement about the possibility of facing his former side in a friendly as the Rossoneri prepare to face Caen on Sunday.

The 18-year-old Milan player made the move from the Ligue 2 side in 2012 and has expressed his excitement ahead of Sunday’s friendly.

While speaking to Milan Channel, Niang said, “Leaving Caen was not easy, but sometimes you have to make sacrifices.

“I’m glad we’re going back for a friendly – it’s the team I made my professional debut for and I still have a lot of friends there.

“Since I arrived in Italy though, I have matured as a player.”

Niang is yet to score in Serie A for Milan, with his only goals so far coming in the Champions League and the Coppa Italia.
