Hernanes – Lazio

Reports are suggesting that increased interest in Lazio midfielder Hernanes could be posing the Roman club difficulties as they try to convince the Brazilian to sign an extension to his contract which expires in the summer of 2015.

After the advances of Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain were ignored during the recent transfer window, the growing number of suitors is ensuring that the 28-year-old is yet to commit to the Biancocelsti, and now Premier League club Arsenal are set to be weighing up an offer.

According to Tempo, manager Arsene Wenger will be given around €80 million to strengthen the London side’s title challenge and the Brazilian has been identified as a potential target.

Hernanes cost Lazio €11m when arriving from Sao Paulo in 2010 and after 32 goals in 107 Serie A appearances the Aquile will be looking for a return on their investment.

Great Player. Not so sure if Arsenal need him at the moment though.
