Former AC Milan midfielder Zvonimir Boban has criticized the attitude and behavior of Rossoneri and Italy forward Mario Balotelli.
The Croatian believes that the 23-year-old is not the only one to blame for everything that happens around him, as he feels the media also bear some degree of responsibility for the circus surrounding him.
“For sure, many things that Balotelli does are unacceptable,” the 45-year-old told Deejay Football Club.
“However, some of his behavior is just the result of what the media wants him to do in order to sell news.”
Boban specifically talked about the message that Balotelli posted on his personal Twitter account in which he denied being the anti-mafia figure that the media has attributed to him.
“It was senseless to assign him the title of anti-mafia, without even telling him before. His message was just the immature result that the media was expecting.”
