CSKA Moscow player Keisuke Honda has reportedly put pen to paper on a contract with AC Milan.

The 27-year-old had been the subject of great interest from Milan during the summer transfer window but CSKA Moscow were not willing to accept Milan’s bid for the player.

According to Japanese newspaper Sports Nippon, Honda has already signed a four-year contract with the Italian giants that will see the midfielder join the Rossoneri once his contract expires on December 31st.

Honda will reportedly earn a €2.5 million salary for the Rossoneri and wear the number 10 jersey despite the number being assigned to Kevin-Prince Boateng earlier this year.

Honda would be the second winter transfer for Milan after French defender Adil Rami was officially signed on loan from Valencia.

Honda has made 11 league appearances for CSKA Moscow this season while adding a goal and an assist.
