Juventus are looking to bring in a new winger for the January transfer window and have begun identifying possible acquisitions.

The French duo of Parma’s 25-year-old winger Jonathan Biabiany and Paris Saint Germain’s 26-year-old Jeremy Menez are reportedly the two chief targets for the Old Lady.

According to Tuttosport, Biabiany is the Bianconeri’s preferred option but a potential move will be complicated by the fact that the former Inter man is co-owned between Parma and Sampdoria, with the Ducali not keen on the idea of letting him go in January.

It is thought that negotiations for Menez may be smoother as the French international has been frozen out at PSG following an argument with coach Laurent Blanc.

The 26-year-old’s will also be available on a free transfer as his contract expires in June 2014.

However, it is thought that the Bianconeri would rather open negotiations with Les Parisiens in January and bring the man in for the second half of the 2013-14 campaign for a reduced transfer fee.

Juventus may also face competition from England for Menez’s signature as Liverpool have shown interest in the player in past transfer windows.
