Juventus are reportedly looking to offer Southampton striker Pablo Osvaldo a loan deal during the January transfer window.

The 27-year-old joined the Premier League side from Roma this summer, due to a falling out with fans based on his past attitude problems, for a fee of around €15 million plus €2m in bonuses, though he hasn’t settled in as well as expected and has only scored one goal in his seven appearances so far.

According to the Daily Mirror, the Bianconeri are apparently preparing to offer a loan deal to the striker in January, with an option to permanently buy him at the end of the season.

The Italian international is also expected to meet with Saints coach Mauricio Pochettino sometime soon in order to already discuss his future at the club and may use the opportunity to consider a move to The Old Lady.

Juventus are coming off of an embarrassing 4-2 defeat to Fiorentina this past weekend as they prepare to face Real Madrid in the Champions League on Wednesday, while Osvaldo’s former club Roma are flying high at the top of the Serie A table after continuing their perfect start to the season.

  1. What?! What a ridiculous story, Osvaldo has personally said he is very happy here, he is settled here and how calmer football is here than it is in Italy…..He wont be going anywhere.
