Manchester United are thought to be keeping tabs on Juventus defender Stephan Lichtsteiner and could make a move on the player in the January transfer window.
The 29-year-old has proved to be a key player for the Turin side and his performances have previously caught the eye of Chelsea and Arsenal.
According to Swiss website Infoticker.ch, United are weighing up a €12 million bid for the Swiss international, though that amount could prove to be inadequate, as the Bianconeri reportedly value the player at €17m.
Stephan Lichtsteiner’s contract with Juventus runs until June 2015 and since joining the club in 2011 he has made over 80 appearances .
