Juventus are looking to bolster their midfield options, and are hoping purchase Swiss midfielder Pajtim Kasami from English side Fulham.

The former Palermo player has begun to establish himself in Martin Jol’s first team this season, and has been in impressive form.

English newspaper The Sun report that the Vecchia Signora’s sporting director Fabio Paratici has earmarked Kasami as a priority to reinforce the midfield.

The Macedonian-born youngster scored a spectacular volley against Crystal Palace on Monday night, in a game that was observed by a scout from the Turin side.

Having started his professional career with Bellinzona in Switzerland, after being released by Lazio, Kasami played one season for Palermo before being snapped up by the Cottagers. Finding first team opportunities limited, he was loaned out to Luzern, in Switzerland, early in 2013 before returning to Fulham.

Although born in Macedonia, Kasami spent his formative years in Switzerland, representing the Rossocrociati’s Under-17 and Under-21 team before making his full debut earlier this month.
