Roma have invited professional tennis player Roger Federer to their match against Napoli after the international break.
The 32-year-old tennis star expressed his love for the Giallorossi in a short statement on his official Twitter page on Tuesday after being asked by a fan who his favourite Italian football team was.
“I have always liked AS Roma,” wrote Federer, who is also good friends with Lupi captain Francesco Totti.
The Serie A side then responded through their official Twitter account and asked the tennis star if he would like to attend their home match against the Partenopei on October 18 as a guest of the club’s.
“Thank you. We are big fans of yours as well and we’d love to host you at a game! Come see Roma-Napoli as our guest?”
Roma are currently at the top of the league table after a winning all seven matches of the season so far and will be put to the test in their upcoming game against an impressive second place Napoli side.
