Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Aaron Lennon could move to Inter on loan during the January transfer window.

The England international has only recently returned from an injury that kept him out since the opening match of the Premier League season, but it appears Lennon has fallen behind Andros Townsend in the pecking order.

As a result Tuttomercatoweb.com are reporting that the 26-year-old winger might be loaned out to the Nerazzurri during the next transfer window in order to secure regular first team football.

Inter are already expected to further revamp their squad in January due to the arrival of new investor Erick Thohir, who recently purchased 70 per cent of Massimo Moratti’s shares of the club.

Lennon has scored 25 goals in his 230 league appearances for Tottenham since joining in 2005 from Leeds United for a fee of around €1 million.
