AC Milan forward Stephan El Shaarawy has reportedly turned down the chance to move to Turkish giants Galatasaray.
The forward has been a rumored transfer target of a number of clubs including Manchester City and Arsenal and news has emerged that Galatasaray coach Roberto Mancini personally approached the 21-year-old to persuade him to leave Milan.
In his blog, market expert Alfredo Pedulla wrote that Galatasaray had “moved Stephan to the top of their January wish list” but the striker turned down the offer.
Despite injuries and poor form blighting the forwards start to the season, Pedulla continued to say that “the priority of El Shaarawy is Milan, who is hoping to forget the recent mishaps and injuries.”
