Newcastle United defender Davide Santon could be on his way to AC Milan as a replacement for Ignazio Abate, who is a target of the big spending French club PSG.

The former Inter player is being lined up as a replacement for Italian international Abate should he joins the Ligue 1 side.

Tuttosport also say that the Milan full back, who is good friends with PSG striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and also shares the same agent in Mino Raiola, may make the move to Paris soon.

Santon has made 10 appearances for Newcastle this season, but was not called up to the Italian national team for the friendlies against Germany and  Nigeria.
