Inter are reportedly ready to join the chase for Corinthians striker Alexandre Pato this winter.

The 24-year-old, who joined the Brazilian side from AC Milan during last season’s January transfer window, hasn’t been performing as well as expected in his home country and could be on his way out in the near future.

Gilmar Veloz, an agent of the former Rossoneri forward, spoke to CalcioNews24 about the possibility of his client moving to Inter and admitted that anything can happen.

“Everything is possible,” said the agent. “We would just need to speak with Corinthians and ask them.”

The striker has been doing so poorly in Brazil that even fans of the club have asked for the player to be sold, as outside teams such as Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal are also interested in landing his services.

“It’s hard for him to remain in Brazil,” said Corinthians sporting director Roberto De Andrade to Radio Bandeirantas.

“If Tottenham or Arsenal really want him, Pato can leave as early as January.”
