Germany’s manager Joachim Low hailed Mario Balotelli as ‘one of the best’ players in the world ahead of their clash with Italy at the San Siro on Friday night.
The fixture will also signify Low’s 100th match as Germany’s head coach.
” Mario Balotelli is one of the best players in the world and Cesare Prandelli is an excellent tactician, who has done a tremendous job with the national team.” he was speaking exclusively to ExtraTime.
The last time these two sides met, Italy outwitted the Germans in the Euro 2012 semi-finals.
“We were very young back then and Italy were smarter but now we are ready.”
“But I am a supporter of Italian football. Italian teams are not the most successful as they once were, however, the national team have shown great strength and improvement.”
