Juventus are reportedly monitoring the situation of Anzhi Makhachkala forward Lacina Traore.

The 23-year-old is seen as one of the Russian club’s last remaining stars in the squad after the departure of a number of players including both Samuel Eto’o and Willian to Chelsea over the summer.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Serie A side might make a move for the striker as soon as January, though it may be easier to secure his services in June.

Juventus aren’t the only team looking to sign the Ivorian international, as Premier League club Liverpool are also supposedly interested in landing him.

Lacina Traore joined Anzhi in 2012 from Kuban Krasnodar for an estimated fee of around €18 million and has scored a total of 13 goals in 29 appearances for the team since then.
