English interest in AC Milan forward Stephan El Shaarawy remains high with Liverpool the latest club to now be linked with a swoop for his services.
The youngster was linked with a number of Premier League clubs during the summer most notably Manchester City and Arsenal although nothing came off the apparent speculation.
Newspaper the Daily Mirror are reporting that Brendan Rodgers’ men will be looking to the January transfer window to further strengthen their squad and are eyeing a move for ‘Il Faraone’.
El Shaarawy is valued at roughly €20 million and the Rossoneri are considering allowing the 21-year-old to depart to raise much needed funds.
The ex-Genoa man has not enjoyed the best of campaigns so far having been plagued with injury but he is nearing a return.
