Juventus striker Fernando Llorente has revealed that he’s starting to finally settle into the squad and feel important at the club.

The 28-year-old, who joined  from Athletic Bilbao over the summer, scored a goal for the Bianconeri in their 2-0 win over Livorno on Sunday and admitted that he’s looking to repay the confidence of coach Antonio Conte.

Llorente spoke to Mediaset Premium after the victory and commented on his goal, while also conceding that he’s beginning to feel more comfortable at Juventus.

“We knew that this game was going to be tough and it was,” said the Spanish international.

“My goal was important because it broke the tie and put us ahead. We have to continue like this.

“It’s normal that I had some trouble in the beginning. Now I’m improving and I feel myself always getting better.

“I feel that I’ve become important to this team and I try to repay the confidence of the coach.”

Good job u are doing. I’d love to see more goals and a screamer. The most important thing is winning to keep the target alive
