Blaise Matuidi - PSGNapoli are reportedly planning a double swoop for PSG midfielder Blaise Matuidi and Liverpool defender Daniel Agger.

Partonopei president Aurelio De Laurentiis has targeted the defence and the midfield as areas for improvement and sees the French midfielder and Danish stopper as upgrades for Rafael Benitez’s side.

TuttoMercatoWeb.com report that Napoli have a good relationship with PSG after selling both Edinson Cavani and Equeziel Lavezzi to the French side in the last summers and could a legitimate destination for the midfielder should he leave the club.

Matuidi’s contract expires in summer and while negotiations are still ongoing, PSG could look to offload him in January to secure a fee rather than aloowing the Frenchman leave the club for free.

Meanwhile, Rafael Benitez’s relationship with Daniel Agger from their time at Liverpool together could be seen as an inroad to begin talks over a possible deal.
